one2one – Dell’s Official Weblog
One wonders why it took so long for Dell to recognise the value of a corporate weblog, but whatever the reasons, they are of little relevance now that one2one – Dell’s official weblog – has launched.
There are but a handful of posts there at the moment, with most of them being videologs (vlogs) of Dell directors giving intros on new Dell products and services. Yeah, I know what you must be thinking. If we consumers were looking for info on products and services, we’d rather go to independent review sites (like this one 
). Even Steve Rubel over at Micro Persuasion notes the potential that Dell has yet to realise with one2one.
But the past couple of posts have signalled a very slight change towards the better, with more conversationalist posts being published. I can also see two excellent tools (for both consumers and Dell) on the blog – social bookmarking links (to digg, etc.) and a suggestion box where you can suggest a topic for one2one’s bloggers.
So, if you’re an avid Dell watcher, check one2one out. Hopefully, by the time you get there, it will be worthy of being bookmarked.
